why we're here
We are the Kunkel Family: Sarah & Kevin, our kids Wesley, Quinn & Cary, and our son Milo who we lost in 2020 when he was just over two weeks old - which brings us here, to our nonprofit organization in his name.
what we're doing
Our journey with Milo and the experience of losing a child has come with a host of learning experiences, but one thing it has certainly provided for us is perspective; and with that came a renewed sense of purpose: to live better, to do more.

To put it simply, our mission is to help others in any way we can, for Milo.

This year marks what would have been Milo's 5th birthday.​

Milo's brother Wesley loves to draw. A few months ago, when he drew a giraffe and told us it was for Milo, it sparked an idea for a fun project and another exciting way to give back and thoughtfully honor his memory. So we gave Milo's cousins a simple prompt: send us your giraffes!

And the results were beautiful.

On top of that, there is nothing that fills our hearts more than seeing MBK travel near and far with everyone. No words can express what it means to us to see how many people Milo has touched and how far his impact continues to reach.
